Association of the students with disabilities (ASD) was established in 2000 as an organization involved in improvement of the status of students and the young with disabilities and in their enrolment thereof. The Association fights for realization and observation of human rights and for the equality of the young and students with disabilities by establishing conditions for inclusive and non-conventional education as well as for social model application.

ASD is the first organization in Serbia and Montenegro involving the young with all kinds of physical disabilities. So far, there has been a tendency to establish the associations of the people with disabilities by diagnosis type. ASD has changed such approach.

The young and students with disabilities may voluntarily join the association, as well as the other citizens interested in the status of the young and students with disabilities in the society.
